2 Player Raid Tycoon Factory Building & Production
Turn free Droppers into multi-floor income — belts, upgraders, Auto Collect, and post-rebirth rebuilds.
Production is the real endgame
Raids feel flashy, but 2 Player Raid Tycoon is still a tycoon: the duo with disciplined droppers and upgraders funds better guns, denser lasers, and faster rebirth payments. This guide covers the factory loop from the free starter pad through Auto Collect, upstairs belts, and efficient rebuilds after a reset.
If you are brand new, skim Getting Started first, redeem codes, then return here for spend order.
Core loop: Dropper → Conveyor → Upgrade → Collect
- Dropper spawns raw blocks / product onto the line.
- Conveyors / belts move product through the factory.
- Upgraders multiply value as items pass.
- Collect turns finished value into spendable Cash (manual pad or Auto Collect).
Until Auto Collect is online, producing and collecting are separate actions. Blocks can move while your balance stays $0 if nobody steps the green COLLECT! zone. That trips every new player after their first rebirth.
First purchases (ground floor)
Free Dropper and Produce console
Step on PLACE DROPPER · FREE after claiming a side or finishing a rebirth. Use the console (E on desktop) to start production. Learn this muscle memory — you will repeat it after every rebirth.
Automatic Dropper (early priority)
Buy the Automatic Dropper as soon as the pad price is comfortable (early rebuild examples show very cheap starter automations, sometimes tens of dollars on fresh plots). Automatic output frees you to place walls, fight, or raid without mashing Produce.
Belts and speed nodes
Speed Up Belt / Quick Hands style pads reduce jams and raise throughput. Buy them when Automatic Dropper is already printing; a fast belt on a manual-only dropper is backwards priority.
Early upgraders
Upgraders are multiplicative. One good upgrader often beats two extra raw droppers of the same tier. Route belts so every item passes the upgrader before collection.
Auto Collect (~$25k)
Auto Collect at about $25,000 is the largest early QoL spike after Automatic Dropper. Once owned, income deposits without camping the green pad, which means:
- You can hold vault defense during a siege.
- 2x Cash code timers and Double Cash events actually land while you fight.
- Post-rebirth rebuilds become less miserable.
Bank for Auto Collect before luxury weapon pads if you are still hand-collecting every box. Pair it with code multipliers from the Codes Hub for explosive minutes.
Floors and upstairs belts
Factories grow floor by floor. Upstairs unlocks more dropper tiers, window gun pads, and higher-value lines.
Notable mid purchase pattern:
- Upstairs Belt pads (community examples near ~$7,500 on some team colors) restore upper conveyors after rebuilds and reveal follow-up pads such as Copper Dropper, Speed Up Belt, and Quick Hands variants.
- Stair landings often hide the belt pad under distinctive window colors — walk the landing after each floor unlock.
- Roof access later enables Helipad-adjacent pads: Airstrike Uplink, Minigun cash purchase, and other late facilities.
Do not unlock a floor and then ignore its belt pads. An upstairs room without conveyors is expensive scenery.
Treadmills and clickers
Treadmill pads appear beside production lines and often require rebirth counts (Treadmill at Rebirth 1, TREADMILL 2 at Rebirth 2 with a cash pad, TREADMILL 3 at Rebirth 3). They add active income for players who like movement minigames between raids. Clickers similarly appear across floors.
Use treadmills when the vault is safe. AFK treadmill while lasers are down is how bags disappear. Unlock requirements are detailed beside the Rebirth milestones.
Suggested spend curves
Brand-new plot
- Free Dropper + Produce.
- Automatic Dropper.
- Cheapest belt / upgrader that multiplies output.
- Divert cash to walls / laser before greed-expanding.
- Resume belts until Auto Collect is realistic.
Mid early-game
- Auto Collect.
- Upstairs Belt + new dropper tier.
- Weapon pads for Shotgun / SMG so you can contest (Tier List).
- Guard tickets and second laser.
- Bank toward Uplink + rebirth cash only after income is automatic.
Post-rebirth rebuild (speedrun)
- Free Dropper immediately.
- Produce + Collect (or Auto Collect if it remained / rebuy if needed per pad rules).
- Automatic Dropper pad.
- Upstairs Belt chain.
- Rely on kept turrets/guards while the line restarts — that is your shield during the fragile minutes.
Sharing a factory with a partner
Each side tracks its own machines and cash. Good Players habits:
- Builder focuses pads and Auto Collect.
- Defender spends the builder’s surplus on lasers / guards.
- Raider converts surplus into bags without starving the belt budget.
Avoid both partners buying duplicate early droppers while the shared entrance stays unwalled. Talk about who owns the rebirth timer too — staggered rebirths can leave one side soft.
Events that boost factories
- Double Cash server events: park on production, not on a distant Hill, unless defense is covered.
- Air Drops: optional; only contest if the vault is stable.
- Code 2x Cash windows: same rule as Double Cash — running lines required.
See Updates for how new facilities (Bunker themes, bombers, missiles) change roof pad priorities without replacing the basic belt math.
Production mistakes to avoid
- Saving every dollar for Minigun while still hand-collecting.
- Building upstairs without the belt pad that feeds it.
- Rebirthing with no Automatic Dropper plan for the first minute.
- Letting product pile up during a 2x timer because you are mid-Oddball.
- Ignoring defense until the factory is “finished” — finished factories without lasers get vacuumed (How to Defend).
- Spending all cash on gamepass flair before Auto Collect.
Measuring if your factory is healthy
Ask every ten minutes:
- Is cash rising while I am away from the collect pad?
- Can I afford the next belt without selling my laser budget?
- Could I pay a surprise repair / gun cost after a failed raid?
- Am I closer to the next rebirth cash gate than I was last night?
If the answer is no, stop raiding for a cycle and fix belts. How to Raid spends money as often as it makes it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What should I buy first on a new factory?
Place the free Dropper, start Produce, buy Automatic Dropper, then early belts/upgraders. Add walls before you wander, and target Auto Collect around $25k.
Why is my cash still $0 while blocks move?
You need to collect. Step on the green COLLECT! area until Auto Collect is unlocked so production income becomes spendable cash.
Does Auto Collect survive rebirth?
Machines and floors on your side reset on rebirth, so plan to rebuild production pads. Guards and turrets typically remain — read the confirmation panel.
When do I unlock treadmills?
The basic Treadmill pad locks until Rebirth 1. Higher treadmill tiers unlock with later rebirth counts and separate cash pads.
Should I expand floors or buy weapons first?
Keep a minimum defense and a Shotgun-tier gun, but prioritize Auto Collect and upstairs belts before luxury weapons. Income funds everything else.
